We introduced the final topic list to the students and they are SO excited. We talked a bit about how to use a camera (on/off button, zoom, how to look at a picture you have taken, flash).
Then we talked briefly about how to take 'good' pictures. That you can take pictures from many different angles, with different backgrounds and with different lighting. I wanted students to think about how they were portraying or capturing an idea.
I haven't actually seen any of their work yet, but I have seen them running around taking a ton of photos!
We let the students choose which topics they wanted to take pictures of and the most popular subjects were wildlife and school building.

Nos élèves ont découvert la liste finale des thèmes à photographier et ils sont TRÈS enthousiastes. Nous leur avons montré comment utiliser un appareil photo (allumer/éteindre, zoom, lecture des photos, flash).
Puis nous avons discuté de ce qui fait une "bonne" photo, nous leur avons montré qu'une photo pouvait être prise sous différents angles, avec des arrière-plans et éclairages différents. Je voulais que élèves réfléchissent à la façon dont ils allaient saisir une idée.
Je n'ai pas encore vu leurs photos, mais je les ai vu courir ici et là pour en prendre!
Nous avons laissé les élèves choisir les thèmes qu'ils voulaient photographier et ceux qui ont le plus de succès sont vie/animaux sauvages et bâtiment de l'école.
